Bedside Table Candids

If you know me, you know that I love my room—it's my safe haven. I particularly love my bed for its cloud-like qualities. Adjacent, sits my bedside table which holds all of the spilled over items I use during my relaxation time. It sees frequent use, but its limited surface area means that every item on it must be essential. Somehow my vintage nightstand reminds me of my childhood, having been once set up my mom. It now showcases a mix of my childhood keepsakes and newly collected items.

Recently, I’ve found myself noticing how beautifully disheveled this space is. Most days, I move past it without second thought, grabbing items, placing them on, and using it as a work space. But when I do take the time to pause and appreciate it, I have an almost outerbody experience. I feel removed from my timeline, realizing how precious life truly is and how endearing we are with our little cherished treasures. I ponder what it says about me and consider how it mirrors my most prized possessions and products.

I've now begun to take photos of my bedside table when I catch it in moments both magic and routine. With that introduction, lets begin my series of my bedside table candids that pinpoint the products I’m actively using.

My first snapshot is pictured above, my first product debrief below:

1. Trace Minerals Electrolytes - Guava Passionfruit

  • Effervescent electrolyte pack featuring antioxidants, 1,200 mg of Vitamin C, manganese, selenium, Elderberry, Zinc, Vitamins B3, B6, B12, and a full spectrum of Ionic Trace Minerals. Great for travel but the flavor is quite potent.

2. Pique Life Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramides Pack

  • Subtle strawberry lemonade taste for beauty electrolyte boost. I love almost all of Pique’s products for their 3rd party testing and quality sourcing.

3. Castor Oil by Seven Seasons

  • Can’t speak to this product much as my mom just bought it and I have been trying it out. Pros: organic, cold pressed, unrefined, hexane free, dark bottle. Cons: not in a glass.

4. Oxacan Candle from Flora and Henri

  • I started collecting these with my mom a few years back. They are so intricate and special to me. I hope to have a village of them burning around me when I pass on.

5. Masha Tea - Hibiscus

  • Brooklyn based organic teas hand crafted by Naturopathic Doctor Maria Geyman who also happens to be a superstar freelance writer for Vogue.

6. Designs for Health Supplement

  • High quality supplements (yes this matters!) with a science first philosophy.

7. Bathing Culture Body Oil

  • One of my favorite body oils: fast absorbing, clean & quality ingredient.
